Let’s take a look at how I’ve helped businesses in the past to see how we might work together.
Some folks have beautiful visual branding already, but their message falls flat.
Others have fabulous work but the way it is portrayed online is far from enticing.
Other people really need the whole package. They need the strategy work to get clear on what their niche in the market is before we can even begin to develop the materials to sell it.
Here are a few examples of the creative + brand strategy work I’ve done. Let’s figure out what will work for you!

5 Sparrows makes delicious sugar-free drink mixes so their customers can have sweet treats without sabotaging their healthy lifestyle. When they first approached me, 5 Sparrows was on the cusp of a rebrand and didn’t want just a pretty new aesthetic but a powerful message, too.
I collaborated with the design team to create a brand voice that felt encouraging, real, and playful. After doing thorough market research, we created new brand guidelines, art direction, and messaging that would better resonate with their ideal audience…and it worked! Sales went up 40% the following year.
VOICE
We know that many of the sugar-free brands out there are intense. They’re loud and they use lots of buzzwords that cause more confusion than clarity. We know our customers just want to enjoy the sweet things in life while also choosing to honor their health. It’s not all about performance for our customers. It’s about the warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you take a minute out of your day to nurture your body and your soul.
We want to encourage self-care in a way that feels attainable. We want to educate without being preachy or patronizing. We bring lightheartedness into conversations about healthy choices, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
This means that when we write copy:
We are approachable. We know our customers are trying to make better choices, but they don’t need more overwhelm or something that feels exclusive or unattainable. We’re thoughtful and warm in how we invite new customers to try out healthier alternatives. This is for them.
We are nurturing. Our customers don’t need more noise or intensity in their lives. They need some compassion, spaciousness, and serenity. We give them permission to catch their breath and enjoy the moment.
We are helpful. Our customers are busy and have problems to solve, so we give them useful hints, tips, and insights to help them get there. We build trust by giving them the scoop without being too formal or academic.
We are light-hearted. We make life sweeter, so we’re a bit playful and whimsical. We’re not silly or childish. We’re simply not taking things too seriously. We wink at our customers and like to make them smile.

When Cindy came to me to discuss strategies for her re-election campaign, it was clear that she is incredibly smart and passionate about her work. But the trouble with knowing all of the ins and outs of government, is that you forget what your average voter knows…and the answer is often not a lot.
I worked with Cindy and her team to dial in her message so that it spoke to the needs of her voters without the jargon and overwhelming concepts that she deals with. We created a tagline to summarize her vision, and communicated her position in a way that’s easy to understand to her voters. She already had a logo, so I took it and built out the rest of the campaign collateral (ads, postcards, rack cards, signs, social media updates, and so on) so that she could get the visibility she needed.
After a lot of hard work, we got the great news that Cindy won!
BRANDMARK
PITCH DECK
Lindsay of Linton Productions was already doing amazing work with her photography business. But she wanted her brand to look more polished…and she had a big project she wanted to pitch.
We worked together to create a beautiful, timeless logo for her to use on all of her materials. I also helped Lindsay take her idea for Women in Wyoming and lay it out in a sophisticated pitch deck, to clearly articulate to sponsors and donors what she was dreaming up. She needed her graphics to match the quality of her photography, so we made sure it was elegant, polished, and captivating…just like her work!
She’s now in her second season of features and podcasts of Women in Wyoming. Check it out here.

Shannon of Shannon White Design needed to freshen up her website so it was something she could be proud of. She’s a talented designer in a market with lots of competition, so she knew she needed to step up her marketing game.
Building a new, polished website with updated photos, clean layout and navigation, and messaging that spoke to her audience was the first step. After that, I designed print ads for regional publications that would create visibility and establish her as an expert in the area.
COACHING

Meagan of Raskol Ink. is an artist who screen prints her designs onto hoodies for wearable art. Her visual branding wasn’t showing her products in the best light (literally) and she didn’t have consistent offers, which created more work for her and made difficult shopping for her clients.
We worked together to get clear on her vision for her business, and started making improvements to her visual branding and photography. Instead of offering one-of-a-kind hoodies in different colors and sizes (which created way more work for her), she started creating a line of designs so customers could find the designs they love. We also updated her images to show them in brighter light and bring some of her fun, playful personality into her brand.

Liv of Goldust Jewelry has been making gorgeous jewelry for years, but wasn’t sure how to take her passion project to a legit business. She had the demand from customers, but didn’t have the marketing and systems in place to support her vision. Together we worked to get clear on what she needed to implement to get her business off the ground, and then executed on that to-do list!
I helped her crunch numbers to get clear on her pricing, took photographs to showcase her beautiful earrings, and built her website so she could reach more people.
