“I really need to figure out Instagram.”

These are some of the concerns people have when they first get into marketing themselves. They get information about what they "need to do" but they don't know why. They're just shooting from the hip. 

In order to understand what the various "things you need" (automated emails, social media, FAQ pages, etc.) will do for you, you've got to understand what purpose they serve. That way you can put your energy in the right place first...the cart doesn't need to come before the horse, right? 

In the videos below, I'm going to explain a sales funnel in a very basic way, and give some examples of how that might look for an online business. 

For reference, the stages are:

ATTRACT  → CONNECT/CAPTURE/CONVERT  → CLOSE  →  DELIGHT
